Melissa Williams is the Founder and CEO of Star Financial, a wealth management firm focused on creating better financial outcomes for successful families and business owners. As the firm’s visionary and lead advisor, Melissa serves as a trusted partner to her clients, helping them navigate important financial decisions and align their resources with what matters most. She brings clarity, structure, and thoughtful strategy to every stage of the financial journey.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Melissa has seen firsthand how traditional financial planning often falls short. Too often, clients are given complex plans that lack relevance to their lives and fail to adapt as those lives evolve. As a fiduciary, she founded Star Financial to provide a more personalized, relationship-driven approach grounded in listening, education, and long-term partnership. Her work is centered on helping clients solve problems, make confident decisions, and move forward with purpose.

Melissa holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation, which allows her to guide clients in integrating charitable giving, legacy planning, and values-based decision making into their overall financial strategy. She is passionate about helping clients use their wealth with intention, creating meaningful impact for their families and the causes they care about.

Deeply committed to her community, Melissa is actively involved in local philanthropy and has served on numerous charitable boards. She continues to support organizations and initiatives that strengthen and uplift the community she calls home.

Outside of her professional work, Melissa is an avid snow skier, dedicated animal rescuer, and values time with her family.
